APPLICATIONS
Typical application of this fan is mechanical ventilation and cargo rooms, engine room a.o. Where you have transportation of air volumes at relative small pressure drops.
Mounted in duct or duct-top mounted.
MPV-A1
For low volumes and moderate pressure drops up to high volumes and low pressure drops. Preferably where system resistance are on the inlet end, i.e. in normal exhaust, of the ventilation system. Care should be taken when installed in systems where the resistance is at the exhaust end, particularly if this occurs shortly after the fan. The resulting whirl can increase the resistance to a multiple of the computed values.
MPV-D1
For low volumes and moderate pressure drops up to high volumes and average pressure drops. Preferably where system resistance are at the exhaust end. HVAC, air circulation and exhaust system.
DESIGN
Long experience has contributed to a simple construction, with the propeller mounted directly to the motor shaft, combining the best of simplicity and reliability with the lowest possible price. Also tailor made solutions to meet customers specification, like spark proof design.
EXECUTION
The MPV - are supplied in many executions of different types of material. Normally manufactured in Grade A ship steel, primed and painted, or hot dip galvanized. Other materials are sea water resistant aluminium or stainless steel.
IMPELLER
The impeller is made of salt- and ammonia resistant aluminium, aerodynamically shaped and balanced, or made of plastic (Polyamid). It is performed in two types. Type A: Cast in one unit. Type D: The blades can be inserted at various pitch angles to suit specified capacities and pressures. The blades are also adjustable at rest. With type D impeller, the fan will also be equipped with guide vanes. The MPV - can be delivered in the range from size no 260 to size no 1600.
ELECTRIC MOTOR
The fans are usually supplied with standard squirrel caged inductive electric motors. They may also be supplied with other types of electric motors, like explosion proof or 2-speed motors.

APPLICATION
Centrifugal fans are classified into three main groups: low, medium and high pressure. Their application are many and diverse.
DESIGN
The design are based on main group; low, medium of high pressure. Location of fan base and design of impeller. The fan impeller is designed and shaped in accordance with its application, conditioned by the required air volume and pressure drop. The impellers are also classified into four main groups. Also tailor made solutions to meet customers specification, like spark proof design.
EXECUTION
The centrifugal fans are supplied in many executions of different types of material. Normally manufactured in steel, primed and painted. Other materials are sea water resistant aluminium or stainless steel. The impeller is made of salt- and ammonia resistant aluminium, aerodynamically shaped and balanced. It is performed in four types.
Type B: Backward, convex curved blades
Type F: Forward curved blades
Type Z: Backward, concave curved blades, Scirocco wheel
Type R: Radial blades, for transportation fan.
The air capacities vary from 100 to 240 000 m3/h

APPLICATIONS
Typical applications of this fan is mechanical ventilation, extraction, in cargo area of hazardous zones and rooms onboard ships. Duct top, above deck mounting. From the Det Norske Veritas
system requirements, mechanical ventilation in cargo area: A 100 General. 109 Electrical fan motors are not to be installed in ventilation ducts when the ship is to carry flammable products. 111 Ventilation outlets from gas-dangerous spaces are to dis-charge upwards in location at least 10 m in the horizontal direction from ventilation intakes and openings for gas-safe spaces.

The PUV-D1RX is designed primarily for ventilation, extraction, of pump rooms and other places where explosive fumes occur. The fan is spark proof with a totally enclosed, natural cooled and flameproof electric motor. Long experience has contributed to a simple
construction with only one rotating part in addition to the motor itself.
The propeller is mounted directly to the motor shaft, thus making it one unit with the motor flange, which can be lifted out for inspection.
EXECUTION
Fan casing, motor flange and guiding plate are made of salt- and ammonia resistant aluminium.
The propeller is made of salt- and ammoniaresis-tant aluminium. Aerodynamically shaped and balanced. The wings can be inserted at various pitch angles to suit specified capacities and pressures. The wire mesh guard is made of stainless steel. Greasing-point for the gas tight assembly is provided on top of the motor flange. The PUV-D1RX can be delivered in the range from size no 260 to size no 1100.
ELECTRIC MOTOR
The motor is totally enclosed, natural cooled and flameproof, designed for above deck mounting.
Test certificates are delivered with each motor.
