GAR/GAR-T Free-Fall Lifeboat
Today, an unsinkable free-fall lifeboat is standard equipment on virtually all cargo vessels and tankers. The hull of this free-fall lifeboat features fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin (FRP), and its patented design guarantees low acceleration and soft landing. The boat is approved for launching from heights of up to 20 meters. A diesel engine with a sealed cooling system provides reliable propulsion. This boat features compact design and lightweight construction and is approved in compliance with LSA Code 4.7 (4.8, 4.9 for tankers).
CLR Compact Lifeboat-Rescue Boat
The unsinkable CLR is intended for use as a
lifeboat on board cargo vessels, work vessel and
offshore oil platforms. It features modular
construction, and virtually any combination of
sections is possible. For example, the length
and capacity can be varied from 5.90 meters for
49 passengers to 12.37 meters for 109
passengers. It is also approved as a combination
lifeboatrescue boat with a length of up to 8.50
meters. Various types of access are also
available. The boat is powered by diesel engines
rated at between 21 kW (28 h.p.) and 40 kW (54
h.p.). The compact, lightweight FRP hull
provides a long service life. The CLR is
approved in compliance with LSA Code 4.6 4.7 and
4.8 for Tankers.
SEL Partially Enclosed Lifeboat
This unsinkable single-hull lifeboat features fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin (FRP), and its design perfectly complements the lines of modern cruise ships. The boat is powered by an inboard diesel engine with a sealed cooling system that provides powerful thrust and good maneuverability. A profiled rudder jet provides extra protection for the propeller. The boat features compact design and various access modes. Fassmer’s proven hoistinghook system of stainless steel and low-maintenance, highstrength bronze is used for hoisting. The SEL lifeboat is approved in compliance with LSA Code 4.5.
