SC179® is a forward space dewatering control system for bulk carriers in accordance with SOLAS XII Regulation 13 & IACS UI SC179. The system is designed to operate in conjunction with our market leading and award winning BULKSAFETM water ingress detection system offering complete compliance with SOLAS CHAPTER XII. 
The system provides remote control of pumping arrangements for ballast tanks and dry spaces forward of the collision bulkhead. Positive indication of the position of the de-watering valves is given at the control panel fully compliant with IACS UI SC179. Our SC179® system is easy to install and combined with our market leading BULKSAFETM water ingress detection system offers you the simplest and lowest cost route to compliance with SOLAS CH’ XII regulations 12 & 13 from a single supplier.
