MarRAD is a radar level gauge for continuous measurement of cargo tanks on marine vessels where the highest degree accuracy is required. The MarRAD is designed for reliable measurement on tanks of all heights up to and including 35m. Pulse Radar operates entirely within the time domain and does not need the fast and expensive processors that enable alternative FM-CW radar in function. 
The radar comprises of a two-wire 4-20mA loop-powered compact sensor for direct connection to the tank top by means of a range standard stainless steel flanges. The device has a high chemical resistance and is suitable for virtually all cargo types. 
The MarRAD radar comes with the option of having an indicator included on the transmitter housing or a field mounted remote indicator, which can be up to 25 metres away from the transmitter and powered by the two-wire loop.
