MariNOx® is the world’s first Type Approved (LR) on-board NOx/CO2 & engine efficiency monitoring system providing the simplest solution for compliance with Annex VI of MARPOL, The NOx Technical Code and MEPC.103(49). MariNOx® is the preferred option over the onerous ‘Parameter Check’ method which involves as a minimum: inspection of engine record books to check they are being maintained; inspection of engine settings & adjustments to check they are within allowed tolerances; inspection of engine components to verify IMO indentification numbers, requiring survey of a minimum of one complete cylinder unit, and possible internal inspection of the turbocharger. MariNOx® also frees operators from the restriction of the ‘Parameter Check’, where only engine manufacturer’s original NOx critical spare parts can be used, at a major price premium to ‘after-market’ spares.
  
MariNOx® is a self-contained system supplied with all sensors and probes to provide a TOTAL solution to compliance with the NOx Technical Code and MEPC.103(49). Installed without affecting the operations of your vessel, single or multi-point sampling ensures your main and auxiliary engines are always in compliance.
  
MariNOx® was the first Type Approved marine NOx analyser to be approved in accordance with the requirements of MARPOL Annex VI. At the time of writing MariNOx remains the only marine NOx analyser on the world market with this accreditation.
