JASTRAM TRANSVERSE THRUSTERS
The Jastram Transverse Thrusters are installed either in the bow or stern to produce side thrust at low ship speeds.These devices provide excellent manoeuvrability during berthing operations. Both fixed and hoistable thruster systems are available. These are active devices that produce thrust immediately upon activation, from 30 kW to1800 kW.st sixty years Jastram manufactured thousands of engines and pumps for the marine industry. JASTRAM NOISE REDUCTION
The active Jastram Noise Reduction is a patented innovation to minimize the noise of the bow-thruster unit on any type of vessel. All thrusters create noise by propeller cavitation. In-stead of damping the noise, this active device reduces noise at the source by injecting a specific volume of air at carefully chosen locations. An overall noise reduction of up to 15 dB can be achieved without losses in thrust efficiency. In addition damping systems are available reducing the structure-born noise.
JASTRAM ELECTRIC DRIVE SYSTEMS
The Jastram Electric Drive Systems offer three variants of user-friendly electronic control and monitoring installations: immediately upon activation, from 30 kW to 1800 kW.
